About Me

Wendy Kennedy founder of Overjoyed Coaching is an energy healer and life coach in Oromocto New Brunswick Canada. She has spent the last 14 years building a resume that includes numerous certifications in all areas of spiritual healing, and holistic therapy. Some of the training she uses most frequently in her sessions with clients come from her certifications in Quantum Healing, Access Bars, Reiki, Root Cause Therapy, Grief Education, and Thought Field Therapy (TFT) or  Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

Wendy has created a magical oasis in her office space in Oromocto, where she does both online and in person sessions with clients to support them in any area of physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual health. She offers services for both one-time clients and those seeking long term support where she has made it her mission to hold space for them to move through the stages of grief and healing. The space she created is overflowing with loving energy and you can feel it before you even get to the door. 

But it’s not her resume, or her hidden gem of a workspace that sets her out from the crowd. Wendy’s real magic lies in her spirit. Her gentle, supportive energy and empathetic nature lets her connect with clients in a way that allows them to feel not only seen and held but provides the warm space and safety to open up and heal in ways their soul has been yearning for. 

So how does she do this? How does she connect so easily with her clients and know how to guide them through the healing journey until they are ready to step out on their own? Well, Wendy’s formal training began about 12 years ago when she left corporate work and beganher own healing journey, but she has been preparing for this role her entire life. 

Wendy grew up as the oldest child of three girls to banking parents who moved about every two years to various parts of the Maritimes. It was in these frequent moves that Wendy laid the foundation for who she would be as a healing practitioner. Due to her empathetic nature, her ability to see people at a soul level and her desire to be a helper wherever she went, she was able to show up for the people around her even as a young child. She learned in these moves how to make deep connections, how to be an anchor for them, and how to love them fully but with non-attachment as she knew her time in each place would be transient. It was in these early years that she learned to be the light wherever she went and to provide the people she met with a sense of safety and home so that even after their time together was over, they knew they had a refuge in her friendship that extended past time and space. 

Now settled into her space and with fully formed roots in her community, Wendy uses these foundational skills along with her formal training to create that safe space for her clients every day. She is kind, supportive and gentle but has a strength in her solidarity that allows her to see the end goal for her clients and be dedicated to their growth in reaching it. And because she has mastered both holding her clients and walking them through the steps of growth, she is able to let them go with pride when it’s time for them to fly out of the nest, knowing they always have place they can come back to whenever life gets a bit more than they can navigate on their own. 

Wendy finds her joy in helping others. Her mission is to help others not only fall in love with all that they are, but to help clear out any blocks that stand in their way from finding joy in their everyday life. She is the warm cup of tea, straight shooting best friend and loving embrace you didn’t know you were missing.
